題目:Interactions between charged macromolecules/nanoparticles in electrolyte solutions

 

要旨:Interactions between charged macromolecules or nanoparticles in aqueous solutions are of fundamental importance in many technological, medical and biological systems. The interactions between macroions can be altered by the presence of molecules that possess a spatially distributed internal charge. In this presentation the theoretical model will be introduced which is able to consider interactions between charged macroions embedded in a solution composed of molecules with spatially distributed charge. Our results show that close to the charged surface, the charge structure of molecules plays a crucial role on the charge distribution profiles. Also, the pressure between the surfaces was calculated. For large surface charge densities, the interaction between like charged surfaces becomes attractive due to charge correlations, while the interaction is repulsive at low surface charge densities.
